West Sussex Citizens Advice Bureaux Consortium

Is seeking a Voluntary Chair of the Board of Trustees

This is an opportunity to become involved in a ground breaking initiative designed to bring together the nine West Sussex Citizens Advice Bureau into a single entity for the purposes for bidding for and managing large scale projects. The Consortium is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity.

It is desirable for the chair to have an appropriate background and understanding of voluntary and statuary organizations as well as knowledge of the type of work undertaken by the Bureau along with a commitment to the management of change.

We would expect the successful candidate to demonstrate leadership skills, experience of committee work, facilitation skills, tact and diplomacy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and impartiality, fairness and the ability to respect confidences.
