Salary: £21,412 (pay award pending) + 5% pension and membership
of Leeds Hospital Fund

to ascertain their sexual health and HIV prevention needs and take action
to meet them.

and men who have sex with men in a range of settings.
• A commitment to and a personal understanding of the health of
Gay, Bisexual and men who have sex with men.
• A commitment to Community Development principles.
Community Development Worker - Wakefield

Salary: £23749 (pay award pending) plus 5% pension and membership
of Leeds Hospital Fund

developing and delivering services that are responsive to the needs of
our communities.
We expect all our staff to be able to demonstrate the following core

You will work with local communities to increase opportunities for people
to contribute to improving the sexual health and social well-being of
LGB communities across Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield through voluntary
action and other forms of participation.

• The ability to develop a ‘toolkit’ that supports Voluntary
Sector health agencies in their ambition to recruit, train, support and
retain volunteers.
• A commitment to voluntary action.
• The ability to manage and co-ordinate a complex portfolio of volunteering
opportunities.
