Praxis Community Projects is an established and innovative charity working with people displaced by war, conflict, impoverishment and environmental degradation. We provide advice, guidance, training and community development activities.

Project Outreach workers

We are embarking on a new project focusing on Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge aiming to assist disadvantaged refugees and new migrants to overcome the multiple barriers they face and move into employment. Working Links (www.workinglinks.co.uk) is the prime contractor and the project will run for three years. We have developed a strategic partnership with Working Links and it is critical Praxis deliver the project successfully.

• Organising and running training workshop and group work
• Liaison and collaborative work with employment promotion agencies
• Familiarity with the target boroughs

Candidates should have relevant and demonstrable experience and a qualification in employment advice and promotion work, preferably at NVQ 3 level.
